The new handlebar
Today has arrived the new handlebar for my Ultra road bike. I've ordered it from dirtbike.ro a website with new and SH bike stuff
This one is a full carbon fiber compact race handlebar with an aerodynamic shape. The top is flat, designed to be aerodynamic and comfortable, allowed by the UCI. The handlebar has an internal cable routing for less resistance, a clean look and a reliable setup for manual or electronic shifting systems.
The handlebar is 440mm wide, weighs about 360±10g and it has a 120mm stem length. The same as the Ergonova, with a reach of 95mm and a drop of 125mm, its purpose is to keep the wrists free. I really love the top flat and the shape of the handlebar.
Not only it looks good, but it's a superb upgrade from the stock handlebars that came with my bike.
Mounting the handlebar
12 February 2022, it was a great sunny and warm weather today, so it was the perfect condition to change the handlebars to my bike. Some small adjusts had to be made, because I bought a support for a Garmin bike computer and I needed to modify it to be compatible with my Wahoo bike computer.
After a few hours of work, here it is the final result:
I trully like this handlebar, its style, how it feels at my hands and how lite it is.
